It's that time of the season!

I worship the buyer at Neiman Marcus who is responsible for their seasonly selection of outrageous and phenomenal shoes and bags. After delighting in what I've chosen to feature here, take a trip to the wild side and explore Neiman Marcus's pages of this season's Fashion's Extremes. Enjoy!

Giuseppe Zanotti at Neiman Marcus, colorblock slingback platform $1,495
Swarovski crystals matched to the shade of the colorblocked suede adorn the faces of this gem. I'd love to pair this with a pair of black leather leggings...yowza! Did you know that a jeweler actually works for Giuseppe Zanotti? This gives me ideas...

Prada at Neiman Marcus, madras woven leather satchel $2,650
Although this bag comes in black and brown, the red (more of a brick/raspberry red) and black combination is what makes this bag a "stand-out." The contrasting red and black weave emphasizes the woven detail and texture; delineates the varied weave patterns of the bag and lines of the bag (use the zoom feature to appreciate this detail); provides a contrast for the signature black push-lock closure, which adds a perfect focal point; and adds a jewel-tone richness--a trend to be noticed.

Christian Louboutin at Neiman Marcus, ecotrash platform slingback $1,095
This shoe has two different animal patterns separated by trash--yes, trash. The upper part of this shoe is recycled scraps of paper, netting, ribbon, string, etc arranged together in a collage fashion and coated with PVC--and no two shoes are alike! Click on the link and use the zoom to see the ecotrash collage detailing and layers on this shoe. Shoes just don't get any cooler than this!

Valentino at Neiman Marcus, studded python clutch/wristlet
I do not claim to be well-studied on every fashion house, but as far as what I'm used to seeing, this is definitely quite a strong look for a designer who I associate with extremely feminine style and detailing--and I love it! This decent-sized clutch would be an easy go-to over and over again for a fun night out, sure to compliment a variety of ensembles and make me swoon with every wear. I definitely have a thing for patterns, and this snakeskin just can't be beat.

Brian Atwood at Neiman Marcus, tie-up leopard print feather heel $1,450
If this isn't a statement shoe, I don't know what is. Loud fun and full of glam, Brian Atwood definitely delivers with this power shoe. Leopard print calf hair, a thick-ribbon lace-up tie, exploding black ostrich feathers, and a sexy skinny gold metal heal combine for a look that is the all-out epitome of fabulous, not to mention style. This is a shoe-lover's shoe.
